How it is calculated
Each unit is stored as a multiple of the metre. An inch is exactly 0,0254 m, so 1 inch is 2,54 cm. In this set a verst is 1 066,8 m, a sazhen is 2,1336 m, an arshin is 0,7112 m, and a vershok is 0,04445 m.
Result = value × factor of the source unit / factor of the target unit
