How it is calculated
The 4.0 scale here is proportional. A mark of five becomes 4, and a three on a five-point scale becomes 2,4. A university’s own table may differ.
Mean = sum(grade × weight) / sum of weights

Example
The lines “5 3” and “4 1” give a mean of (15 + 4) / 4 = 4,75 on a five-point scale, and 3,8 on a 4.0 scale.
Questions
How do I enter the weight?
The second figure on the line. “5 3” means a mark of 5 with weight 3. One figure is taken with weight 1.
A 100-point scale?
Switch the scale. Then 100 corresponds to 4.0.
A pass with no grade?
There is nothing to average it with, so it is better not to add the line.
