How it is calculated
The calculator does not know about traffic. If one stretch is slower, work out the sections on their own.
Hours = distance / speed
Where the numbers come from
- Distance — unit in the field: km
- Speed — unit in the field: km/h
Example
150 km at 75 km/h takes exactly 2 hours.
Questions
Are minutes rounded?
On the label the hours are whole and the minutes are rounded to the nearest. The exact hours are on the second line.
Speed in m/s?
No, kilometers per hour and kilometers of distance.
The other way: distance from time?
Multiply speed by hours yourself, or swap what the two fields mean by using this formula.
